Those of you who know me or watched my old account ~AKuwaNeKo know that I create personalities for my electronics when they show signs of personality. Usually the personality is bad (case in point: Demon Device) but in NeoDell's case it's a good one! Why? Because she diligently runs Windows 7 Ultimate now and has almost no trouble working with my Adobe software.

"Neo~Nana" comes from the Japanese for seven [七] which can be pronounced as "nana" and the computer's name NEODELL. You can also call her Nana-Deru, if you really want to get into the Japanese name. The use of the Japanese was merely meant to be cute.

You might notice that Neo~Nana isn't wearing any clothes. Well, I had a style picked out for her (cyberpunk sweet lolita style), but no idea how to design clothes, so that will have to wait for another day. Or at least until it's not 3am.

Also, the five different hairstyles aren't ones that I'm picking between, they're literally 5 different styles that she uses. Because Windows 7 has such a simplistic and lovely GUI customization design I decided that making her hair color-customizable would show that. The base is chartreuse because I like that color and I've never made a female character with it before. I like it. :D

oh she is so precious~~ I'm so happy to see a personality finally for Neo :33

Her hair is so retro XD I like the idea that the tips change, just like the taskbar.

I wonder though, I mean, I know they have random dancers similar to fleles, but maybe you could make something similar that just acts like a mini helper for your computer? XD maybe it's 4AM brain talking but..

soon I will have to create personality for the PS3... it's already showing signs of one... refusing to load "older games" for one

No-no, I had actually thought about integrating the FLELE idea with a different type of user interface- something less useless - like a search function or something. I haven't decided if it should be an add-on type thing or a little program like SSP that will run independently. Either way, I need to do a lot more research into it. Wouldn't that make a kickass CAPSTONE?

And thaaanks~ I like her hair too, it's my favorite part. I'll probably change the style occasionally, to pigtails or curls or something cute. It's all about ease of customization!

Ha ha ha, what do you think- is it male or female? That's usually a big part of the personality, right there. All my mean and stubborn devices are male and my well-functioning, but lazy devices are female. It's the worst of both worlds! :XD:

That would be kind of awesome XD I mean, just to have something interact with you, kinda similar to the hamster add-on in Google or something similar to that.

If I can get a good, solid idea for this, I'll bet finding a programmer from your side of the school would be a cinch! I should start seriously thinking about this. :D

I'm glad you explained the clothes because up until that point I had no idea how that part was going to correlate to a PC. Your computer is user-friendly and competent so she looks friendly and helpful, okay. And your computer is an exhibitionist so she's barely covered?

By the way, is she supposed to be a bit of a munchkin or is she just chibi? A single character like that always makes it hard to tell if it's a specific character trait or stylistic presentation.

Ha-ha, no my computer doesn't run around naked. In fact, I can't even remember ever having to remove Nao's chassis for any reason. I am currently working on the clothes, but I keep running into ideas that are too complex for her simple design and just throw the style off too much. :P

As for the chibi- umm, I wanted to do something overly cute because I was in that kind of mood, I guess. Plus I haven't drawn a "normal" picture in ages- chibi comes to be more quickly. As to her body type specifically, she's a clunky little tower, so I figured that the figure fit her well.
